HARRISBURG – After the governor today in Harrisburg delivered to the Legislature his annual budget proposal, which called for a 46% increase in the state income tax, state Rep. Mark Gillen (R-Berks/Lancaster) offered the following statement:
HARRISBURG – State lawmakers earlier this year approved a short-term stabilizing budget to fund state government through the end of November. State Rep. Mark Gillen (R-Berks/Lancaster) and his colleagues in the House today passed a balanced supplemental budget with no new taxes or borrowing that would fund state programs and services through the end of the fiscal year in June 2021.
